Thank you for the feedback Mary Jo. I do have a note about this on the recipe card for this recipe, but I appreciate the feedback.
Way too much pepper. It was all we could taste. My husband who puts pepper on everything thought was too much and I warned him ahead of time to taste before he put pepper on it. It was easy and will definitely make again but with much less pepper.
Yes, it should be around 250ml.
hi there, im new to ww.
i love ure recipes, but can i ask if by one cup you mean…250ml? im dutch sorry
Hi Amy – You are right! I’m sorry about the confusion. I had 12 servings in the WW Recipe Builder, not 6 that shows on the recipe card in the recipe. I am updating that now. Even for 7 points, it’s delicious!
It’s actually 7 Weight Watchers points per serving.
You could also use flat iron steak if you can’t find skirt steak. They are similar.
What cut of steak is “skirt” steak. What other names is this called?
Awesome recipe- can’t wait to try it! It appears, though, that it would be 7 weight watchers points per serving- not 3- just FYI!
Thank you so much. I can make an adjustment on the recipe about the pepper, but I do like my beef stew a bit peppery in flavor. But I understand that not everyone likes as much pepper as I do, obviously! Thanks for the feedback.
I made this tonight ! Delicious! I might try a little less pepper next time , maybe 1/2 tbsp. Still a big hit with the family !
Thank you for the feedback. I’ll look at the pepper and maybe put a note in the recipe card to lessen it if you need to.
Loved the stew except definitely too much pepper. My husband and I had a hard time cooling off our mouths
It’s a liquid seasoning that you can buy. It’s usually found at the grocery store near the spices section.
What is a kitchen bouquet?
Hi Diane – I’m sorry it was too spicy for you. I don’t remember it being too much for us, but I can make a note that you could adjust the pepper if needed.
I made this today. I think the 1 tb of pepper may be a mis print next time i would start with 1/2 tsp and adjust
This is one of my husband’s favorite meals. He loves meat and potatoes so much and this recipe has both of those things. I hope your family loves this too.
My boys would love this so much! Would be good to make on Sunday for hubby to take to work too.
It’s comfort food for me as well. I can’t stop wanting to eat this constantly either. Slow cooker recipes are my favorite!
Beef stew is pure comfort food for me. This looks really delicious! I love the slow cooker part too. Now muss no fuss!
