I have been tracking my weight for almost 3 months now. And you want to know something? I don’t feel like I’ve ever had to deprived myself of food. I know I sound like a broken record, but Weight Watchers makes it so easy because you never have to deprive yourself of your favorite foods. I get to eat the foods that I absolutely love (like cheese and bread sometimes) and still lose weight.
After a great meet up with Rachael, I realized something. The best thing about Weight Watchers is how I can still live my life without having to sacrifice anything. I can enjoy my tortilla chips and salsa (we didn’t get cheese dip, but that would have been fine too), eat the foods I love and have a great conversation with a great lady.
One thing I wish I could tell people about Weight Watchers is that you can still live your life. Yes, you should do everything in moderation, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy certain foods or drink a few drinks each week. That is all fine! Remember that you have your weekly points as well as your daily SmartPoints to play your day or weekend.
I usually try to eat up most of my weekly points over the weekend, because I don’t want to feel deprived. I hate when I hang out with friends and feel like I can’t do things they are doing because I am losing weight. Remember that this is a lifestyle, and even though you need to change a few things, you don’t have to stop loving what you love.
Please remember that if you decide to join Weight Watchers. Yes, you will have to track your food. That’s just part of the plan. But there is a part that allows you to really live your life. The flexibility is there and you should use it as much as you can. It’s perfectly normal to use some or all of your weekly points. I truly believe the key is to track it and move on.
