Part of the reason this recipe tastes so great is because you make the sauce ahead of time, and set it aside. It helps it thicken a bit on it’s own before you add it to the chicken and broccoli.

Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 3 frozen uncooked chicken breasts
- 3 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoon ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon chili sauce
- 2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 Tablespoon ginger minced
- 2 heads broccoli chopped
- 1 cup low fat chicken broth
Instructions
- Whisk together the soy sauce, cornstarch, ketchup, brown sugar and chili sauce. Reserve.
To cook the chicken:
- Lightly spray a non-stick large wok with olive oil spray.
- Add frozen chickens and cook on medium-high heat until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Remove from the wok and cube the chicken. Return to the pot.
To cook the rest of the meal:
- Heat sesame oil with the cooked chicken. Add in the garlic and ginger and cook about 1 minute. Add broccoli and toss to coat.
- Add in the chicken broth, cover and cook about 5 minutes. Stir in the reserved sauce to combine all together.
