The Holidays are approaching, and you might be needing some last minute gift ideas for the cook in your life.  If that is the case, you have come to the right place!  Below are different gift ideas for all sorts of cooks – from gadgets to baking items to the lazy cook.

Trying to find a holiday gift for the cooking lover in your life? Here's a gift guide for the cook who might have everything. Great info!

For the Gadget Love

Cuisinart Food Processor – I personally don’t know where I would be without this beauty.  It will chop anything and almost everything for me and it is so easy to use.  Yes, it’s got quite a few parts, but for the gadget lover in your life, it’s a must have.

Calphalon Contemporary Grill Pan – In the winter or days that I just don’t want to fire up the grill – and end up burning our condo down – I turn to this grill pan.  We got this as a wedding gift and I love it.  We honestly use it all the time.  The nonstick surface is great and easy to clean.

Vitamix Professional Series 750 Blender, Brushed Stainless – I hesitated putting this on the list because it is the most expensive item on here.  But from what I have heard – I don’t even have a Vitamix but my sister does – is that they are wonderful.  I mean, it cleans itself…no dishwasher required.  And it can blend pretty much anything you could ever want it to.  I even heard that it can cook soups and things like that.  This has been on my list for years.

For the Baker

KitchenAid Stand Mixer – Aren’t these stand mixers staples is anyone’s kitchen?  Make the baker in your life’s day and buy them a mixer that will last forever.  I use mine quite often and love it.

Silicone Baking Mats – These silicon mats are something I have on my wishlist this year.  I love how easy these would be and how environmentally friendly they are instead of using Aluminum foil all the time.

For the Health Conscious

Food Scale – A food scale is something I don’t currently have, but it is something I would love to include in our kitchen.  Mainly because so many recipes require you to have correct portion sizes and it’s hard to guess how much meat I am eating for the points.  This scale would help so much!

Spiralizer – I absolutely love our spiralizer and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen.  We got ours as a wedding gift and I couldn’t be more happy with it.  If I make spaghetti, I will make zoodles to go along with it (so much healthier than pasta).

Pyrex Storage Sets – After our wedding, we got rid of all the nasty, cheap plastic storage containers and graduated up to these glass ones from Pyrex.  I LOVE these.  They last forever, are durable (can go straight from refrigerator to microwave), and are so easy to clean.  Plus, I feel better about them than the plastic ones (which would get nasty residue in them that wouldn’t come out).

For the Lazy Cook

Programmable Slow Cooker  – If you don’t already have a crockpot, this is such a great one to use.  I personally love mine and use it as often as I can.  I love the display and how easy it is to set up (aren’t all crockpots super easy to set up?).  We got this as a wedding gift and I just love it.

Immersion Hand Blender – This little gadget is everything.  I would be pretty lost in the kitchen without this.  Why?  Because it makes cooking so much easier.  Want to make a quick smoothie?  Or how about mash some potatoes?  This hand blender will do that so easily for you.

Thank you so much! No, I haven’t seen that, but OMG…that would be awesome. So genius. I wish ours had that since it’s not that old…but I still love ours!

These are great ideas! Have you seen the Crockpot that you can control via wifi on your phone? I think it’s genius!
