As the weather starts to warm up, I like to treat my family to these delicious and nutritious strawberry banana popsicles. With only 5 simple ingredients, these homemade popsicles are not only easy to make, but also a healthier alternative to store-bought options. Made without any added sugars (sweetened with honey), these fruity popsicles are perfect for satisfying your family’s sweet cravings while keeping their sugar intake in check.

I absolutely love being able to give my kids treats. Especially when I make them from home. We don’t always eat the best at our house, but I do try to limit the amount of sugar I give them.

Ingredients For Fruit Popsicles

Strawberries – I use fresh strawberries to ensure a burst of natural flavor and vibrant color, while also providing essential nutrients and antioxidants. Try to plan to make them when strawberries are in season. They’re at their juicy sweetest when they’re a dark color. Blueberries can be used instead and they make a really fun blue color popsicle.

Banana – for natural sweetness and a creamy texture. The more ripe they are the sweeter they are!

Vanilla yogurt – you could also use plain Greek yogurt with a dash of vanilla essence for flavor to reduce the amount of sugar you’re getting.

Cornstarch – this helps with the creamy texture and also prevents the popsicles from turning icy

Honey – For sweetness, but you don’t need too much because of the sweet fruits. Use maple syrup if you want a vegan option
