Easy Healthy Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a small sauce pan and whisk together.  Bring to a boil.
  • Turn heat down to medium and cook, stirring constantly, about 5 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.  Taste and season, if needed.

Notes

You can store this sauce for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
